Our Classes

FOUNDATIONS. OPEN. POSTNATAL. PRENATAL.

We offer four class types to suit every stage, experience level, and energy because no two days (or bodies) are the same. All of our classes ensure a whole-body workout with our highly skilled instructors continually offering options for layering throughout.

  • FOUNDATIONS

    New to Pilates or just new to us? This is your starting point. Our Foundations classes are designed to gently introduce you to the reformer, walk you through key sequences, and help you get comfortable with the flow of our studio.

    Led by experienced instructors, you’ll build a strong base in technique, alignment, and body awareness which is essential whether you’re brand new to Pilates or coming back to fine-tune your form. A great entry point for beginners, and a smart reset for seasoned movers looking to reconnect with the basics.

    We recommend new clients begin with 1–5 Foundations sessions to get the most out of your practice. Suitable for pregnancy under 13 weeks.

  • OPEN

    Our signature class, for when you want the full Launceston Pilates experience.

    Open is where strength meets stretch, flow meets focus. This all-in-one class delivers a full-body workout that blends mobility, stability, and controlled strength all wrapped up in a session that feels as good as it is effective.

    With options to dial it up or down, Open is perfect for all levels, whether you’re deep in your Pilates groove or just getting started. Come as you are, and move in a way that suits you.

    Suitable for pregnancy under 13 weeks.

  • PRENATAL PILATES

    Feel strong, supported, and mobile throughout your pregnancy. We offer two ways to keep moving safely and confidently during pregnancy:

    Prenatal (Thurs 6:30pm)
    A dedicated class designed just for expectant parents. Enjoy a balanced mix of strength, stretch, and mobility, plus the chance to connect with others on the same journey.

    Open (Mon 5:30pm & Sat 10am)*
    Join our regular Open classes with pregnancy-safe modifications built in. Ideal if you can’t make Thursdays or want to add extra sessions to your week.

    All sessions follow RANZCOG’s 2020 guidelines for safe exercise during pregnancy.

    Please check with your GP, obstetrician, or midwife before attending to ensure Pilates is suitable for you.

  • 8 WEEK POSTNATAL COURSE

    Gentle, supportive movement for your post-birth recovery.

    Our postnatal course is designed to help you rebuild strength, support abdominal recovery, and regain mobility after birth all in a warm, welcoming space. With just seven spots per group, our expert instructors offer personalised guidance tailored to your unique postpartum journey.

    Bring your new bub along, and there’s no pressure - just a calm, inclusive environment where you can move, reconnect with your body, and feel supported every step of the way.

  • If you’re new to Pilates then, welcome! We’d love to guide you through your classes so you can learn to love the reformer and all of the wonderful benefits it provides. Start with our Foundations class or reach out, we’d love to answer any niggling questions you may have.

  • Bring your drink bottle, a pair of grip socks, wear what you feel comfortable in and you’re ready to move with us!
